Our Mission is to provide behavioral intervention that makes a meaningful
difference in your child's life. We believe that all children learn and grow.
Our goal is to help your child reach his or her potential in her academic, social and emotional life, so that she may grow into an adult who has a purposeful, content and meaningful life.
Christine Anderson MEd. is the executive director of Looking Glass
Children Services. She is the mom of an autistic child, who has had many
years experience as a special educator and as a behavioral therapist.
She partnered with a well known child psychologist in the Los Angeles area to
form Looking Glass Children's Services in the year 2000. As the mom of
an autistic child she understands and empathizes with the daily struggle of
parents of special needs children and strives to give them hope and support.
Looking Glass offers dedicated experience professionals who are well trained and have a love of children. Therapists (BII) are supported throughout the year by direct supervision by BID supervisors, monthly in service meetings, monthly off sight meetings with director. Although the state of California only requires a high school degree for BII providers the majority of our consultants have their BA or BS. All supervisors have a Masters Degree. All providers have experience working with school aged children.
We are a small company and as such we are able to give you and your child the individual attention she deserves.
